The First Thing you have to do in order to work as an insurance claims adjuster, in this case – a Florida public adjuster license – is get a state license – from the state you wish to work in.
If you wish to gain some experience before getting the state license, consider working for a claim adjusting company or an insurance company at a part-time non-professional position.
While getting the state license, look for apprenticeship programs, where you’ll be working under the supervision of a licensed public adjuster.
After getting your license – the sky is the limit 🙂
You can wither work for an insurance / public adjuster company, or become an independent public adjuster yourself.
